- HTML <OBJECT> markup for embedding objects.
- Proposal: http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/TR/WD-object.html
- The HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is a simple markup language used
to create hypertext documents that are portable from one platform to another.
HTML documents are SGML documents with generic semantics that are appropriate
for representing information from a wide range of applications. This specification
extends HTML to support the insertion of multimedia objects including Java
applets, Microsoft Component
Object Model (COM) objects (e.g. OLE Controls
and OLE Document embeddings), and a wide range of
other media plug-ins. The approach allows objects to be specified in a general
manner and provides the ability to override the default implementation of
objects.

Scripting and Forms.
