When you move the cursor out of a (round) pie menu window, it drags
the menu window along, in the direction of movement. (Try both
instantaneous direction, and menu direction. See how it feels with
each.) You keep the same direction, and stay at the maximum distance.
Now it's easy to get a pie menu out of the way of something you want
to see.
