	-Knob metaphore. Use anywhere you'd have a knob that you'd
turn like a knob. Possibly you could have a knob. Move where you want
it to point. 

	-Inputting vectors. 

A good first step would be to implement it under the X window system.

the bigger the radius, the more you scroll.
