A .IR section , when given, applies to the .I title that follows it on the command line. .I psman looks in the indicated section of the manual for the .IR title . .I section should be a digit. If .I section is omitted, .I psman searches all reference sections (giving preference to commands over functions) and prints the first manual page it finds.
